At Front Range Insurance Services, our team understands the importance of protecting your pets when unexpected medical needs arise. As valued members of your family, your pets deserve the protection they need and you deserve the peace of mind knowing their medical needs are covered.
There are two policy options available, so that you can choose the policy that is right for you.
Accident & Illness Policy
This policy is perfect for covering unexpected, catastrophic incidents for your pets. It does not offer coverage for routine tests, procedures, or wellness visits – but, our Accident, Illness & Wellness Policy detailed below, can offer that coverage if it better fits your needs.
Our Accident & Illness Policy will cover:
- Accidental injuries (including to permanent teeth)
- Illnesses (including cancer, influenza and kennel cough)
- Alternative medicine
- Behavioral therapy
- Hereditary and congenital conditions
- Ingestion of a foreign object (up to two treatments per policy year)
- Euthanasia or anesthesia
- Cremation and burial expenses
- Accidental death
Accidents, Illness & Wellness Policy
This policy covers everything under the Accident & Illness Policy, plus fixed payment amounts for procedures such as:
- Routine physical examination
- Intestinal deworming
- Heartworm test
- Routine dental cleaning
- Fecal examination
- Flea and tick prevention
- Heartworm prevention
- Prescribed vitamin supplements
- Boosters and vaccinations

There is a 14-day waiting period for all coverages.
Eligibility
Cats or dogs who are 8 weeks or older are eligible. Dogs over the age of 13 and cats over the age of 15 are not eligible for new pet insurance policies.
